I am thrilled to invite you to our upcoming West African Dance Program, featuring vibrant traditional Igbo, Gambian, and Togolese dance styles, along with Afro-contemporary music and dance.

Program Overview

This is an open community dance practice running for 11-12 weeks, culminating in a performance in May—and we want YOU to be part of it!

Program Highlights

📢 Public Statement: This 3-month program promotes West African cultures and wellness through dance. Participants will learn from experienced instructors and showcase their newfound skills at our cultural showcase and the Little Africa Festival.

📆 Program Duration: March – May 2025

🕡 Classes: Every Tuesday and Friday, 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM

📍 Practice Location: Center for Performing Arts, Minneapolis and Cowles Minneapolis(with a possible additional location)

🎭 Performance Date: May 24th or May 31st (pending location verification)

How to Register

Attend the online info session. Once the performance date is finalized, you'll receive an invitation to register via a link on the website.

💰 Cost: FREE! However, there is a $50 refundable deposit upon program completion. Late registration fee will not be refundable (Don’t let this stop you from joining—talk to us if needed!)
