Afrocontigbo's 3-Month Dance Program:

Join us for a vibrant 3-month journey into West African dance traditions guided by seasoned instructors.

Program Highlights:

• Dance Styles: Learn Igbo, Ghana, Togo, and Afrobeats dance styles.
• Grand Finale: Showcase your skills at a vibrant celebratory event May 11th 2024
• Costumes Provided: Attire arranged for the spectacular finale.
• Certificates: Participants completing the program receive awards.
• Deposit & Participation: A $50 deposit is required, refundable upon performance. ( let us know if this is an issue and we will figure it out. You can hit "Pay Later")

Schedule:

• Dates: March 1st to May 10th
• Days & Times:
• Tuesday: 6:30 pm - 9 pm (give or take 30mins)
• Fridays: 6:30 pm - 9 pm (give or take 30mins)
• Practice Material: New choreography recordings will be provided for home practice.

Commitment & Attendance:

• Attend either Tuesday or Friday sessions.
• Missing a session? Make it up on the alternate day.
• More than 4 absences may affect participation.

Objective: Our goal is to promote cultural appreciation and unity through the joy of dance and music.

• When: Fridays, 6:30 to 7:30 pm
• Where: Center for Performing Arts
• Note: Practice is contingent on having enough participants. If numbers are insufficient, sessions may be canceled or merged with the general group.
