Afrobeats Dance Class- Series for Kids (Level 1)
This is an event series

Join us for a 6-week intensive course designed for school-aged kids, where they’ll learn form, rhythm, and routines with various West African dance moves. The course will culminate in a final performance on the last day of class with costumes provided. Attendance at most rehearsals is required to participate in the performance. All levels are welcome!

Afrobeats Dance Classes – Kids Performance Series

Ages 6–12 | Winter Program (Level 1)- Level 1 means the student is a beginner in dance*

Dates: February 5, 12, 19, 26 & March 5, 12

Day & Time: Thursdays, 5:30–6:30 PM

📍 Center for Performing Arts.

  • Develops social skills & camaraderie.

  • Enhances coordination through dance & technique training.

  • Fosters an active lifestyle & fitness routine.

📌 Attendance Policy: If a participant misses 3 rehearsals, they may not be able to perform.

💛 This is a safe and welcoming space for all children. Bullying will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the program.
