Note: Classes will be canceled if there is no registration online two hours before class time.

Wednesday classes offer a lively dance workout featuring traditional and contemporary West African rhythms. High-energy, fun, and full of good vibes! Connect with MPS for more information. https://minneapolis.ce.eleyo.com/

Join us for a 6-week intensive course designed for school-aged kids, where they’ll learn form, rhythm, and routines with various West African dance moves. The course will culminate in a final performance on the last day of class with costumes provided. Attendance at most rehearsals is required to participate in the performance. All levels are welcome!

Afrobeats Dance Classes – Kids Performance Series
Ages 6–12 | Spring Program (Level 2)- Level 2 means the student is not a beginner in dance*
Dates: March 19, 26 & April 2, 9, 16, 23
Day & Time: Thursdays, 5:30–6:30 PM
📍 Center for Performing Arts.

Boosts self esteem & confidence.
Creates cultural awareness & appreciation.
Develops social skills & camaraderie.
Enhances coordination through dance & technique training.
Fosters an active lifestyle & fitness routine.
📌 Attendance Policy: If a participant misses 3 rehearsals, they may not be able to perform.
